All About Michelle

Hi friends! I’m Michelle Abner, and I’m so excited to kick off the very first edition of Michelle’s Corner.

I was born and raised in the DFW area, and for the past 16 years, I’ve shared life with my husband, Cody, our three kidS, Chloie, Evelyn, and Malachi, and our two spunky pups, Romo and Georgia. We call Burleson, TX home, and I love the small-town charm mixed with all the city conveniences.

For over 13 years, Cody and I have poured our hearts into Big Tex Renovations, helping families transform outdated spaces into homes they truly love. Alongside renovations, I also work in real estate guiding buyers, sellers, and homeowners through the process of making smart, value-driven decisions. My background in marketing and media means I love finding creative ways to showcase homes and connect with people.

Here on Michelle’s Corner, I’ll be sharing tips, stories, and behind-the-scenes looks into home renovations, real estate, and life in Texas. My hope is to make this a fun, helpful space where you can get inspired whether you’re dreaming up a remodel, thinking about selling, or just love all things home.
